“You are one decision away from a totally different life.”-quote by Mark Batterson.
I’ve been thinking a lot about choices today. How personal choices can affect those around you on a small scale as well as a larger scale. These pictures are called Nature’s Heart. May we always remember to try and make choices from our hearts.

While I was attending my daughter’s piano concert, I noticed this beautiful bloom outdoors. I had to sneak outside to capture the beauty.

“The earth has music for those who listen.”- George Santayana. A few samples of the music you can find in quiet moments in nature. All creating one masterful symphony.

This is an oldie but still one of my favorites. I shot this picture in the greenhouse at The Biltmore House three years ago. I added the quote because it seemed to fit it perfectly. I wanted to share a personal favorite. I have this picture in notecards, prints, and printed on wood. I truly love it. 🙂

“Let us be grateful to the people who make us happy, they are the charming gardeners who make our souls bloom.”- Marcel Proust. I am blessed to have several people in my life that help my soul bloom. I hope you are able to spend some time with a “gardener” this weekend. A little bit of purple fusion to begin your Saturday….

I find this Saucer Magnolia so beautifully unusual. I always anticipate its bloom this time of year. Happy Friday everyone!

Looking at these beautiful orchids has caused me to stop and observe the details. It’s like a quiet moment of meditation between me and the art of nature. It sounds cliche, but honestly it makes me feel peaceful inside. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
