Soulful Photography

Hello! This is one of the few posts that I am making that has more words in it than photos. πŸ™‚ I think we all have individual goals for the year, in all aspects of our lives. I’ve been thinking a lot about my photography and what goal fits me best. Yesterday, a friend led me to a website that really hit home for the growth that I have been searching for. Please take the time to check her out: http://www.catherineandersonstudio.com/index.html. I think we can find inspiration in the most unusual places and times, if we open our eyes to see it.

I am planning on doing a little bit of “soul photography” throughout this year. There will be more posts coming about this. πŸ™‚ As well as challenging myself to look more on the inside for inspiration, I am going to post a word once a month for inspiration. I would love for any of you to join me along this journey. Whether you keep your pictures to yourself or share them here, I invite you along. I, personally, would love to see them!

I’m getting started a little late, however, February’s prompt is PEACE. For the next two weeks, look around you and see what it is that brings you peace. It can be an image that brings peace within you or an image that expresses peace in your environment or even the world. The perspective is completely yours. I do have a private Facebook page if you wish to join. We post pictures, positive comments, tips for helping with individual growth in your own photography. If you’re interested in joining, please let me know.

I will post an image soon of what I see as PEACE. I hope to see some of your images as well. πŸ™‚

Many Hugs,
Christina
