We live in the south but have recently have had some record breaking cold temperatures. I guess Winter has decided to come early this year! Even though it was only in the 30’s, the kids were amazing. They trekked along happily looking forward to that hot chocolate at the end of their session. 🙂

Me! I also LOVE candid photos of kids. How else can you capture their true personality? I feel the best sessions are the ones when you can play with the kids…follow them and let them be natural. 🙂

I know I’ve said this before, but I do love when people include their pets in their holiday cards! This family included their 11 month old bloodhound who completely acts like a puppy but must think she is only five pounds. 🙂 I had a great afternoon spending time with all of them at their house for their yearly family pictures!

I just love this family! I laughed and laughed throughout their session. Maybe it’s because they also have four children, three boys and a girl just like me. Whatever it is, they are a terrific family and I had a lot of FUN on their session. Here is just a snapshot from their Christmas mini. 🙂

Happy Holidays! This was the very first time this family had pictures together. The mom did a fantastic job pulling all of their colors together and, of course, I was happy that they brought their 13 year-old-dog for their photos! Such a sweet family!

How terrific to be the third in the family! This little one loved to watch the snowman on her brother’s sweater. I think she just liked watching her big brother and sister in general actually. I love the last “out take” picture. Oh, he made me LAUGH!

I am having so much fun seeing families from last year (and meeting new ones this year) to shoot Christmas and Family sessions. This little guy is such a cutie!! We had to sneak a few pictures of him in his awesome Halloween costume. 🙂
